Discover The Empire

In the quiet aftermath of fallen empires, their stories still resonate. Etched in marble and carved in pillars through ancient halls that have endured the rise and fall of centuries. The collection draws upon the monumental balance of classical architecture. The harmony of proportion, the discipline of form, and the reverence for craftsmanship that shaped these masterpieces.

Italian silk carries a legacy that stretches across empires and eras. For centuries, it has been treasured for its unmatched feeling, and timeless elegance. From ancient trade routes to the ateliers of modern luxury, silk has remained a symbol of refinement chosen by artisans and visionaries alike.

The Material Honored for Centuries

The Temple of Jupiter Tonans, dedicated to Jupiter the Thunderer, was one of the most symbolically charged sanctuaries of ancient Rome. Commissioned by Emperor Augustus in 22 BC, the temple was built in gratitude after he narrowly escaped a lightning strike.

The Ara Pacis Augustae, or Altar of Augustan Peace, is an ancient altar dedicated to Pax, the Roman goddess of peace. Commissioned by the Roman Senate in 13 BC and inaugurated by Emperor Augustus in 9 BC, it was built to commemorate Augustus's victorious return from campaigns in Hispania and Gaul.
