FURINKAZAN BY AYUMI (天遊美) 2/2

1995.00€

This artwork, titled *Furinkazan*, completes the story of the Samurai Soul, embodying the duality of strength and serenity. The white bag represents the elements of water and wind, symbolizing adaptability, clarity, and the disciplined nature of the samurai.

In contrast to the bold fire of its counterpart, this piece reflects the quiet power of restraint, precision, and the unwavering focus required in both battle and life. The presence of the sword motif serves as a reminder of the samurai’s dedication to mastery, while the fluidity of the composition captures the harmony between motion and stillness—key principles of Bushidō.

Together, the two bags bring to life the legendary phrase *FuRinKazan*: *as fast as the wind, as quiet as the forest, as daring as fire, and immovable as the mountain*—words once displayed on the banners of the samurai, now reimagined in contemporary artistic form.
